i've made a grave mistake, i knew that from the onset but petty traitors like me have no room for any regret with me and you there, singing what will be our last duet echoes of embers wail an ode to instantly forget oh, remembrance, do you think this matters? have you checked the rule book yet? do you really think that this will ward off any looming threat? what will be different once the cosmos stop and time resets? no gods, no masters, no receivers of prayers to forget oh, remembrance, i, did you enjoy that last walk in the park? did you send mother your kindest regards? relay your message, you bright rising star they are the audience and this is our art this is the ending where everyone dies of billowing flame to be erased by time lit from the matchstick of pure greed and spite i fled the scene, it's out of my sight

I've made a grave mistake, I knew that from the onset but petty traitors like me have no room for any regret with me and you there, singing what will be our last duet echoes of embers wail an ode to instantly forget oh, remembrance, I wish I could beg for your mercy do you think this matters? have you checked the rule book yet? do you really think that this will ward off any looming threat? what will be different once the cosmos stop and time resets? no gods, no masters, no receivers of prayers to forget oh, remembrance, I wish I could beg for your mercy oh, remembrance, I wish I could here we are, standing alone. across the current lies a vast desert expanse, unfathomable, unreachable. the beacons of fire that danced joyfully in the wind have ceased. i stood there, watching a sun rise, illuminating the remnants of what was in their place. i have to look away. i can't look away. this is the ending where everyone dies of billowing flame to be erased by time lit from the matchstick of pure greed and spite i'm locked away, it's out of my sight it's out of my sight, it's out of my sight... i'm locked away and despite what i've done, my soul still yearns for release from this world i've betrayed why can't i atone and pay my debts to the deceased i'm locked away and despite what i've done, my soul still yearns for release from this world i've betrayed just let me atone and pay my debts to the deceased

about

Fuck it, I'm impatient. Also it's Bandcamp Friday. Here you go.

This single consists of two songs I made as contributions for a fictional eldritch baseball rock band called The Garages. The first is featured as the closer on their record UNSTABLE and the second replaces it on the vinyl version of the record. Part of the reason I'm releasing this is the fact that the two songs could not be found on the same version of the album. Putting the two together makes it more apparent that they meld together into a greater emotional dichotomy, creating a conflicted character portrait revealed through ominous drones, piercing blasts of guitar noise and bleeding catharsis. They're the best things I've ever written, finished, performed and released, and I hope you find some joy in them.

This single is also a personal fundraiser for a work-in-progress solo album. It's unannounced and very early in development, but already it's on track to be one of, if not the most ambitious thing I've ever done, so all of the funds I get from this single will be used to make this record the absolute best it can be. Specifically, it's mostly going to be for getting better recording equipment, maybe wrangling together a few very talented people as extra personnel. If you find anything I do at all enjoyable or promising, toss a few dollars my way if you'd like. Even a small donation, while it may not amount to much in terms of actual money raised, lets me know that what I make brings joy to people and motivates me to keep working.

Thanks for listening to my stupid songs. I love you.
